{"id":343,"date":"2014-09-29T20:00:11","date_gmt":"2014-09-29T20:00:11","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/tomonaga.ch\/nogos\/?p=343"},"modified":"2014-10-05T02:19:23","modified_gmt":"2014-10-05T02:19:23","slug":"crees-summer-school-2014","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tomonaga.ch\/nogos\/?p=343","title":{"rendered":"CREES Summer School 2014"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>From Sept. 29th until Oct. 7th I could enjoy the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sci.hokudai.ac.jp\/grp\/crees\/CREES-web\/research-e.html\">CREES<\/a> (Coral Reef Environmental Earth Sciences\/Carbonate Research for Earth Evolution Systems) summer school organized by the research group of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sci.hokudai.ac.jp\/grp\/crees\/CREES-web\/watanabe_tsuyoshi.html\">Prof. Watanabe<\/a> of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sci.hokudai.ac.jp\/\">Hokkaido University<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-349 size-large\" src=\"http:\/\/tomonaga.ch\/nogos\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/20140929_180411_lores-1024x253.jpg\" alt=\"20140929_180411_lores\" width=\"474\" height=\"117\" srcset=\"https:\/\/tomonaga.ch\/nogos\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/20140929_180411_lores-1024x253.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/tomonaga.ch\/nogos\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/20140929_180411_lores-300x74.jpg 300w, https:\/\/tomonaga.ch\/nogos\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/20140929_180411_lores.jpg 1920w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 474px) 100vw, 474px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>As the fieldwork part of the summer school has been planned on <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Amami_%C5%8Cshima\">Amami Island<\/a> and on <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Kikaijima\">Kikai Island<\/a>, we collected groundwater samples for noble-gas analysis from a few wells (some of them used by local <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Sh%C5%8Dch%C5%AB\">shochu<\/a> distileries).
