On April 1st 2014 the members of the Marine Analytical Chemistry group enjoyed the full cherry blossom along the Sumida river (隅田川) close to Asakusa (Tokyo). After sunset we had dinner at Komagata Dojou (駒形どぜう) and, as the name of the restaurant implies, we discovered dojou (Japanese loach, Misgurnus anguillicaudatus) in form of a dojou nabe.

Snow in Nagareyama
It seems to be quite rare to have snow in the region of Tokyo. This might not apply to Nagareyama 😉
