During the Sanja Maturi we could experience one of the most crowded events in Tokyo. Here a short video of one of the shrines being transported around Asakusa.

The Golden Week is characterized by enormous masses of people moving through all Japan. We followed the local customs and escaped to Tamagawa Onsen and Onikobe (at the second location we enjoyed two ryokans: Houunkaku and Taishinkan).
