The manuscript representing the joint effort of the Swiss ICDP PaleoVan science crew has been published in Scientific Reports:

(2017). Porewater salinity reveals past lake-level changes in Lake Van, the Earth’s largest soda lake. Sci. Rep., 7, 313, doi:10.1038/s41598-017-00371-w.

In this manuscript we show that porewater salinity can be used to reconstruct major changes in the water volume of Lake Van (eastern Anatolia, Turkey) over a time span of 250’000 years.
